Visalia Personal Trainer : Personal Training Visalia : Personal Training Studio Visalia CA, Gym Visalia 6-Must-Know-Fitness-Tips-That-Improve-The-Quality-of-Your-Life. 6 Must Know Fitness Tips That Will Improve the Quality of Your Life  It’s no mystery that being physically fit improves the quality of your life.  The mystery usually comes with how to get fit and stay fit.  Physical fitness is your body’s ability to function without too much fatigue, and to adapt to physical stress and exertion.  Your physical fitness levels are influenced by incorporating a regular exercise routine, and can be improved by increasing the work load placed on your body.  There are many benefits to being physically fit here are some of my top ones, better sleep, lower stress levels, lowers blood pressure, and boosts your self esteem.

Here are six fitness tips that can help you improve your fitness and enhance the quality of your life.

  1. Exercise Daily: Every day try and get in some form of exercise for 30-60 minutes, perform movements that will elevate your heart rate.  It can be as simple as going for a walk on your work break or taking the stairs throughout the day.
  2. Eat more greens and veggies. Vegetables, salads, and fruits will keep you energized and healthy. Veggies, salads and fruits contain lot of fiber and nutrients that really help your body operate more efficiently.
  3. Lift Weights: As we age our muscle weaken and decrease in size and strength the only way to slow this process is to lift weights. Weight training will increase your muscular size, and strengthen your bones.  The more muscle you have the more calories your body burns at a resting state.  I recommend circuit training because this style of weight training moving from one exercise to the next helps you build lean muscle, shed excess fat, elevates your heart rate, and improves your stamina.
  4. Train functionally. Incorporate some movements into your daily exercise which benefit or mimic your practiced movements in the actual world. Sports are good for functional training because the body is required to move in an efficient way. Functional training can keep your body balanced making it more resistant to illnesses and injuries.
  5. Take care of your body: Use a foam roller or do self massage to work out sore muscles and increase blood flow and speed healing. Stretch and do yoga to increase flexibility, balance, and core strength.
  6. Hydrate, hydrate, hydrate: Every function in your body requires water and if you are dehydrated you one don’t feel good, and two your body does not function the way it was meant to.  Strive to drink a minimum of four 16 oz glasses of water a day.

There you have it my simple 6 steps to getting fit. It’s not as complex as we make it out to be, but does require a commitment and consistency.  I encourage you to make exercise and fitness a priority and your body will thank you for it.  Remember a regular exercise routine has many benefits and the sooner you get started the sooner you can reap the rewards of all the positive effects exercise brings.  You can do it, I know you can!
